During our younger years, we were often taught to not talk to strangers. As we get older, though, we learn that most strangers are just friends we haven’t yet made.
More than tours and the fuss while traveling, rekindling old friendships and creating new ones in the brief crossing of paths is what I truly appreciate. Glad to have met this couple in Chihuly Garden while exploring it solo. (They were my photographers for the day!😊)
There are different ways to foster conversations — education through random storytelling, connections that are much sincere than the occasional FB or IG message. I cherish the time, most especially the thought, that people take to write an email like this. I like it when I beat my shyness away and I am led to good and kind people by my own aptitude and reliable instinct.
